First we work with you, our client, to help us understand what we’re aiming for – whether it’s a new product line for sales reps or Mayan culture for middle school students. We use systematic procedures and tools to define the learner and the learning, and then we design materials that will effectively deliver that learning to that learner. It’s iterative work – with each deliverable, we review and refine the product so that it get incrementally stronger and more effective throughout the development cycle. And we pay attention to costs, schedules, and production efficiencies that make instructional design an investment you can afford.
